Dalälven Tyttbo
Dalälven, the river that crosses half of Sweden, is with its fishing grounds within walking distance from the farm. Here you can catch pike (best in April, June, October), walleye, trout, grayling, and perch. Sandy beaches, perfect for families with children, can be found along many of the small islands, as well as thethe peninsula Falkudden, where there is also the opportunity to rent a motorboat.
Årängsån, a small meandering river adjacent to our farm lands, has now a canoe trail that goes down in Dalälven and further down to Tyttbo. A map of canoe led is available, and canoes can be rented at several places. At the rapids of Tyttbo, there is a natural population of grayling, pike, walleye and perch. Trout are deployed regularly and fished in the rapids. Tyttbo can be easily reached by road and is located 17 km from the farm Jäderholms. At 6 lakes UWX fishing has put an take lakes and there you rent a lake for yourself, your family or company.
